The prehistoric settlement in Akrotiri is an archaeological site of great importance as it is considered a significant discovery. The fact that the site managed to stay well-preserved after the several volcanic eruptions that occurred on the island is itself extraordinary and it makes the place totally worth exploring up close.
Emporio is the largest settlement of Santorini, a peaceful traditional village that boasts edifices of Cycladic architecture, old churches, wonderful windmills, and one of the five fortified castles on the island. Walk around its narrow alleys that resemble a labyrinth and admire cave houses, tiny balconies, adorable yards, and domes. (40 minutes)
Perissa is a cosmopolitan beach resort that constitutes a part of the lengthy Black Sand Beach. Here you’ll have plenty of time to relax by the sea and enjoy this extraordinary beach. You can swim in refreshing crystal clear waters and have a go at a variety of watersports. The seaside Perissa village has an abundance of shops, cafes, beach bars, and traditional restaurants where you can taste the local cuisine. ( 2.5 hours)
Being the highest point of the island, Profitis Ilias Mountain offers sublime panoramic views in every direction. Gaze at vast vineyards and plains, the coastline of Santorini as well as the spectacular volcano in the Aegean Sea and the nearby islands. From this spot, you can take fantastic photos of the entire island and relish it from a totally different point of view. (20 minutes)

The gem of the island is the picturesque Oia village which is known for its incomparable sunset and admirable architecture. Pastel-colored houses, blue-domed churches, wondrous cafes, and restaurants are built on the staggering caldera cliffs and create an idyllic setting. The world-famous sunset, which can be witnessed from the debris of the Venetian castle, highlights the romantic atmosphere.

Today we will have a Full-Day Santorini Sightseeing Bus tour with Sunset in Oia.
After breakfast, you will meet the tour leader at 10:30am the fountain, and walk to the tour bus.
Our visit today will include a tour of Oia and it’s picturesque settlements where you’ll come across the typical cave houses, traditional whitewashed buildings, blue-domed churches, Venetian castles, and quaint alleys.
You will have the chance to walk through the well-preserved Akrotiri Excavations and marvel at the archaeological findings up close, before visiting the traditional village of Emporio and wandering around its paths.
You will also spend time at the must-see volcanic beaches of the island. You can swim and relax at the iconic Black Sand Beach of Perissa and then have lunch at a traditional tavern in the coastal village, where you can savour local specialties.
Next, a stop at Profitis Ilias Mountain, the highest peak of Santorini, will generously offer you stunning views of the whole island.
Santorini is popular for its renowned wine varieties, which owe their quality to the rich volcanic soil, so there will be a stop to a winery.
Today’s tour will end with the best sunset view in the picturesque village of Oia!
Today is an yet another exciting day – pack in your swimming costumes and head to the meeting point at the port after breakfast – 10:30am is your pick up time.
Our plans this morning is to Sail across Santorini’s beautiful caldera and visit the islands of Nea Kammeni and Theresia on this 6-hour cruise.
Board a sightseeing boat at the old port and admire Santorini’s cliffs as we cruise to Nea Kammeni. Enjoy free time to walk around its volcanic crater, swim in the warm springs, and visit Therasia island. Explore and have lunch there in your leisure time before cruising back to Santorini.
How to get to the port?
This port is only accessible by cable car, which is the most common way as it takes only 3 minutes to go down, or you have to descend 587 steps on foot. Important note: You have to pay 6€ more per way for the cable car ticket. Gialos, the Old Port, lies below Fira, nestled at the foot of a rocky cliff.
You will be surprised by the steep slopes of the Caldera and, finally, the tiny port will appear under these huge rocks and the cave houses that seem to dangle on the cliff. There, the guides of your excursion will be waiting for you, to give you all the important information and to orientate you on the boat.
Our next stop will be the island of Palaia Kammeni, where the famous hot springs are located on the west side, a place that is really popular for its thermal waters. We will stop there for 30 minutes, at a distance of 30 meters from the shallow waters of Agios Nicholaos Beach. Take a dive off the boat and feel the warmth of these extraordinary waters. The waters are also full of sulfur, iron, and other metals coming from the volcano which are very good for the skin, rheumatism, arthritis, and other physical pains.
Important Note: In order to reach Agios Nicholaos Beach, it is essential to have very good swimming skills.
The next stop is the island of Therasia. Therasia is a miniature of what Santorini used to be several years ago. Today it is a virgin island, still untouched by tourism and modern lifestyle. The island of Therasia is only 9 sq. km in size and has approximately 300 permanent inhabitants. We will stay there for 2 hours, so as to explore this picturesque and traditional village as well as to taste the authentic Santorinian cuisine. Should you wish, you can also walk around the main village of Manolas, which is the capital of Therasia. The view of Santorini is spectacular from there.
After departing from your last destination, the tour will finish at the old port of Fira. After your disembarkation, take the cable car back up the mountain and go to the hotel.
Depending on the time, you may view the spectacular sunset from the boat or even back at your hotel.

Today, we have a morning of leisure followed by your most memorable Santorini experience. We look forward to our Volcano Sunset Cruise with Dinner on a Pirate Ship.
We will depart at 13:40 – departure from the Old Port. Take the cable car down to the port – 6€ each way. (This cruise is approximately 5 hours long).
Board our authentic Brigantine “Thalassa” in the afternoon, and visit places of unparalleled beauty and historical significance! Let’s sail away together!
This unique experience will start by reaching the impressive volcano of Santorini. Our knowledgeable guide will lead you up to the top of the crater, giving you all the useful information about the creation of this impressive site, and welcoming you to feel the wild volcanic atmosphere all around! This hike takes up to 1,5 hours in steep terrain, so make sure that you wear a good pair of shoes, bring a hat for protection from the sun, as well as a bottle of water. Get ready to touch the hot stones and see the volcanic crater on the top of the rim, where smoke rises up! It is fascinating!
After leaving the Volcano, we will set sail for the famous Hot Springs! There, you can experience a different spa on the thermal, full of sulfur waters. Take a dive and feel the warm springs coming from beneath and benefit from the therapeutic effects of the water while setting eyes on the impressive volcanic environment around you. It’s a totally worth it experience! We will stay there for 30 minutes. Please note that in order to reach the church of Agios Nicholaos, it is important to swim extremely well.
Next, we will depart for the beautiful Therasia island, where you will have the chance to take a refreshing dive in the crystal clear waters, while the crew will be preparing a delicious traditional meal for you! Get ready to try the flavoursome Greek appetizers and dishes, accompanied by the famous Santorini white wine. (The wine is provided).
You will be treated to a delicious Greek Buffet : Greek salad, tzatziki, and aubergine salad, stuffed vine leaves, cheese pie, meatballs, chicken skewers, oven-roasted potatoes, and rice.
Last but not least, the famous sunset of Santorini! Set sail for the northern part of the island, near the fishermen’s ports of Ammoudi and Armeni, where you will have the chance to relax and watch the amazing sunset on board! The boat will stop at a nice spot, where you will have a great view of the sun diving into the sea, as well as the picturesque Oia Village, which lies above.
