Upon landing at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport and clearing customs, collect your luggage and make your way to the hotel.

Description:
The discovery of the unexpected natural beauties of Mauritius begins with the dormant volcano of Trou aux Cerfs, which offers a magnificent view over the island. A stop in the model ship factory reveals the great refinement and detail of the reproductions of historic sailing ships.

The view of the largest statue of a woman’s divinity in the world, the goddess Durga and the imposing statue of the God Shiva, both measuring 33m high will introduce you into the mystical atmosphere of Hinduism. The statues dominate the Grand Bassin sacred lake, surrounded by picturesque temples and other statues of Hindu deities, also inhabited by monkeys and giants eels.

After a stop on a panoramic terrace overlooking the forests of the Black River Gorges Park, you will have lunch in a typical Mauritian restaurant.

Among plantations of sugarcane, bananas, pineapple, coffee and other tropical fruits you will arrive in Chamarel where, enchanted by the highest waterfalls of the island and the charm of the seven colored earth, you will meet the giant tortoise. The final step of your adventure will be a terrace overlooking the sea from where you will admire a fantastic landscape of Benitiers Island and the famous mountain of Le Morne Brabant.

Step back in time we will be taken to the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden which dates back to 1768 and considered the most ancient of the southern hemisphere.

Inside the garden we will be captivated by countless perfumes such as camphor, sandalwood, nutmeg, ginger and many others. Walking through over 500 species of exotic plants such as the Lotus, Water Lily, palms and others, we will admire the picturesque Chateau Mon Plaisir, colonial residence of the governor De La Bourdonnais and the white wrought iron gate awarded in two international exhibitions in London and Paris.

Afterwards, on the heights of Port Louis we will visit the fort Adelaide, built by the British in 1835 which offers a picturesque view from the Moka mountains range to the harbor.

After our trip in the eighteenth century we can’t miss a visit to the typical Bazaar between spices and souvenirs and up to the famous brands of Caudan Waterfront shopping mall.
