Singapore, Southeast Asia's financial hub, is not only known for its economic prosperity, but also for its clean and green cityscape. As one of the most environmentally conscious cities in the world, Singapore has made it a priority to transform its concrete jungle into a "Garden City". The city has repurposed skyscraper fronts and buildings to create green spaces wherever possible, resulting in an impressive 50% of Singapore being made up of parks and gardens. The famous Gardens by the Bay is a testament to Singapore's commitment towards being green.
If you require a complimentary transfer from Changi Airport (SIN) kindly advise us timeously.

Singapore is a city that is full of contrasts, from the traditional and cultural to the modern and sleek.
A great way to explore all that this eclectic city has to offer is by foot, and there is no better place to start than in Little India. This neighborhood is steeped in Tamil culture and is home to many restaurants, shops, and art galleries.
Next, head to Kampong Glam, which is the Malay quarter of the city. Here, you will find the towering golden dome of the Sultan's Mosque, along with many boutique shops and street art galleries.
After exploring the traditional neighbourhoods, it's time to head to the Civic District, the birthplace of modern-day Singapore.
This area is home to many well-preserved colonial-era buildings, such as the old Parliament House and Supreme Court building.
For a taste of modern-day Singapore, visit Merlion Park, home to the iconic statue of the mythical creature, the Merlion.
This park offers great views of Marina Bay and is a must-visit for any tourist.
Finally, end your walking tour at Boat Quay, the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink at one of the many outdoor bars or restaurants.
The rest of the day is yours to relax and explore the city at your own pace.
There are many options for shopping, such as the trendy Orchard Street, or for those interested in nature, a stroll around the Gardens by the Bay is a must-do.
Another great way to see the city is by taking a river cruise.
Singapore is a city that truly has something for everyone.
After breakfast this morning we will leave the bustling city of Singapore behind as we embark on a journey across the Johor Causeway bridge into Malaysia.
After a four-hour drive, we reach the charming Dutch-colonial town of Malacca, one of the oldest and most diverse towns in the country.
Over the centuries, Malacca has been ruled by the Portuguese, Dutch, British, Japanese, and eventually became Malay in 1957.
In the afternoon, we visit Villa Sentosa, a traditional house that provides a fascinating glimpse into the daily life of a middle-class Malaysian family during the turn of the 20th century.
This house-museum has been preserved almost entirely as it was 100 years ago and is located in Kampong Morten, a quiet village hidden within the city.
As the evening approaches, we embark on a river cruise that offers a unique perspective of the colonial cityscape while watching the sun set.
It's a perfect way to end the day and soak in the rich history and culture of Malacca.
This morning, let's take a trip to the fascinating Old Malacca.
This area offers a lot to explore and discover. To make the most of your visit, we highly recommend a walking tour of some of its major sights, such as the tomb of Hang Kasturi, one of Malacca's five great 15th-century warriors, and Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, which happens to be the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia.
Afterward, we'll head to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, where we should arrive in the late afternoon. KL is a city where East and West blend harmoniously, creating a unique and energetic atmosphere.
Its multi-ethnic population comprises mainly Malays, Sikhs, Chinese, Indians, Tamils (many in local dress), and the occasional Buddhist monk in a saffron robe.
This diversity adds a vibrant splash of colour to the already dynamic street scenes. Be sure to take in the sights, sounds, and flavours of this exciting city during your time there.
After breakfast this morning, we will embark on a cultural adventure in Kuala Lumpur with a walking tour that will take us to some of the city's most diverse and vibrant spots.
Starting at the Guan Yin Temple, a colourful Buddhist temple dedicated to the Goddess of Compassion, we will experience the ornate beauty of this religious site.
Next up is Chinatown's Petaling Street, a bustling pedestrian lane lined with traditional Chinese lanterns where one can find anything from sunglasses to Bonsai trees.
The tour then takes us to the Sri Maha Mariamman Hindu temple, a towering temple with South Indian-style architecture that is said to be the oldest Hindu temple in Malaysia.
Leaving Chinatown, the tour takes us to the Central Market, where we can experience the local culture and purchase some unique souvenirs.
We cross the Gombak River and head to the city's birthplace, which is full of historic buildings such as the Cathedral of Saint Mary and the Tudor-styled Royal Selangor club, reminiscent of Malaysia's colonial days.
After a full morning of exploring, the rest of the day is ours to enjoy at our leisure.
If we want to experience one of Kuala Lumpur's most iconic landmarks, head to KLCC to see the magnificent Petronas Towers.
For a unique view of the towers, visit the Sky Bar on the 33rd floor of the Traders Hotel, directly opposite the towers.
The bar offers a choice of Asian-inspired cocktails and a stunning view of the towers against the skyline.
Enjoy our time in this vibrant city and immerse yourself in its rich cultural heritage.
On day 6 of our Malaysian adventure, we will visit the Batu Caves, one of the most iconic landmarks in the country.
The temple inside the cave is dedicated to Lord Murugah, a Hindu deity. Visitors will have the opportunity to climb the 272 steps leading up to the temple and witness colourful Hindu murals and artwork. If we are lucky, we may even witness a Hindu ceremony of worship called puja.
After exploring the Batu Caves, we will continue our journey north to Chenderoh Lake, where we will stay at the Suka Suka Lake Retreat.
This retreat offers traditional 'Kampung' style guesthouses with en-suite bathrooms, hot showers, fans, and mosquito nets.
We will take an orientation walk through the local area and learn about rubber and palm oil plantations. This will provide a unique insight into the realities of the oil palm trade, which is a multi-billion dollar industry in Malaysia.
In the evening, we will help our hosts prepare dinner, which will likely include local fried fish, nasi goreng, steamed vegetables, and sambal. We will have the opportunity to try Congkak, a popular Malaysian board game played with stones or beans. This day will offer a glimpse into daily life in rural Malaysia and allow us to experience the country's rich cultural heritage.
On the seventh day of our trip, we have the option to enjoy a relaxing morning in the natural surroundings of Chendorah Lake. We can either take a kayak and paddle around the calm waters of the lake or go for a short walk.
Later, we will head towards the Cameron Highlands, which is Malaysia's hill-country.
This place was discovered during the colonial era, and the British soon established country estate houses, lush tea plantations, and curious traditions of tea, scones, and strawberries.
Although the present-day Cameron Highlands still retains some of this nostalgic charm, tea plantations still make up a large part of the landscape. In the evening, we will have a different experience as we cook our own Malaysian hot pot for dinner.
This hearty meal is usually eaten during winter months and is a traditional way of cooking.
It allows us to fry meat and fish and boil vegetables and other ingredients all together in one pot under an open flame.
This dinner will be a contrast to all the British influence we have experienced so far.
On day 8 of our trip, get ready for a unique experience as we visit a tea plantation for a tea tasting session.
We will start the day by travelling in a 4WD to the Mossy Forest. The forest is situated at the highest elevation of the range and is enveloped in near-permanent cloud cover, which provides the perfect environment for mosses, ferns, and other evergreen plants to flourish.
We will take a short walk through this eerie landscape, enjoying the mist and constant moisture that surrounds the forest.
After that, you will continue your trip to the BOH tea factory. BOH has been growing tea for nearly 100 years, and you will have the opportunity to take a walk through the rows of plantations to see how tea is grown, picked, and harvested. We will also visit the factory to learn how tea is refined to create the different varieties we find in our cup of tea.
The best part of the trip is tea tasting in BOH's tea rooms, located high up with panoramic views of the plantations below.
After lunch, we will leave the Cameron Highlands and drive to the provincial city of Ipoh. From there, we will board a high-speed train, which is a comfortable two-hour journey to Butterworth.
Our journey will be full of unique experiences, and we trust that you will enjoy every bit of it.
Penang, also known as the 'Pearl of the Orient', is a small island located off the coast of the Malay mainland, with a rich cultural heritage and an eclectic mix of modern and traditional architecture. Today, you will get to experience the island's unique blend of rural and urban life on an orientation tour by private bus. The tour will cover popular landmarks such as the Kek Lok Si Temple, which is located on top of a hill and offers stunning views of the island. Additionally, you can opt to ride the funicular railway to the top of Penang Hill for a panoramic view of the island.
In the afternoon, the choice is yours to further explore the island's diverse offerings. You can take a local bus to the beautiful Botanical Gardens, or visit the Penang Art Gallery to appreciate the intricate batik work of local artists. For those interested in religious and cultural sites, there are several mosques and Buddhist temples to explore.
As the evening sets in, Penang's vibrant food scene comes to life, offering a plethora of options ranging from Indian, Chinese, and Malay cuisine. We will organise a visit to one of the many local food stalls, so you can indulge in the island's culinary delights.
Overall, Penang promises to be a delightful experience with a mix of cultural, natural, and gastronomic offerings that cater to all interests.
